    *sigh*
Here comes the next bi-yearly entry!

Let's see, I kinda just came to a pretty sad conclusion in my life, a depressing realization about what I've been doing. Which is why I named this post, *sigh*.

    Let's see...

I cannot stifle my need for a girlfriend with my video games, anime, guitar, work, etc. At least not anymore. I could when I didn't know. When I didn't know how nice it was to fall asleep into someone's arms that you really do like. I didn't know listening to her talk was something I would always look forward to. I just didn't know about, everything. I feel utterly depressed, annoyed, just plain in guffaw.

I mean, I don't want a girlfriend for the sake of being in a relationship, I want a girlfriend for the sake of being together with somebody.

    Ugh.

I really do just want a girlfriend. Forget two paragraphs up. I want to be in a relationship, because I am a human, and humans naturally feel that they should be together with someone.

Now, my friends who read this but I don't believe that they are real, the obvious answer is to just start going out with someone. Find someone. Well let's go down the list.

I hate internet dating. Nothing feels better than to hold a person's hand while walking to the car, or whatever. Talking and not being in contact in anyway physically with another person just doesn't feel right. To speak sophomorically, it's a horrible case of blue balls. The worst kind. Also, Internet dating involves you getting into contact with people whom you don't know their faces. I hate that. I need physical attraction. I need to see a lady who I deem to be one that I find titilating (and I mean that in a good way, not perverted). After the initial attraction, it's the talk. Talking first, and then seeing the disaster behind the sheets is horrible in that first, you are horribly dissapointed, second you have to be mean to the other person who opened themself up to you and break the relationship. I know people say that "beauty is in the eye of the" SHUT THE FUCK UP (man I'm angry). Look, this woman could be the most compatable person in all of humanity, but when I peer behind the curtain and see that the Titanic can type, I feel horrible. So screw internet dating.

Real-life hooking-up seems to be the most difficult for me, as it seems that the only way to meet a woman who likes what you like, is to go to the places you like to go right? Well, I don't like bars. I don't like clubs. I don't like playing in the outdoors. I like video games. Gamestop? HAHAHAHA! Out of the question. Anime, anime stores are just gamestops but nerdier. People say anime conventions, but the only girls you meet there are the aforementioned titanics, girls with their boyfriends, and psychos. I've tried yes! Damnit I tried. Every girl seems to be those girls that speak without punctuation. Like, "Ohmygodhaveyouseenthenewnarutoitwasthegreatestthingeverzomgsasukeishotiwanthislovechild". (It was hard to type that, no punctuation? Blegh!)

Then there is also my number. Out of ten on my "attractive" meter, I'm a five. Six on a good day. The girls I'm attracted to, eights or better. I need to better my game a bit. I need to lose weight. Hot damn I have no motivation. As I might've mentioned, I hate working out for the sake of working out. Being a gerbil on a wheel is just not what I want to do. I really kinda wish I had a lifestyle that forced me to do things, therefore lose weight. I also need a car. Not a good car, just a damn car or motorcycle. I need more range than just a bike or bus.

So all that sucks. I was lucky with my last girlfriend, she was really, really, really nice. Even though during the relationship I knew I was lucky, I wasn't able to comprehend till after.

So yea, lose weight, get a better job to get a car. Then I'll just go to barnes & nobles, or wherever else.

    *sigh*

    See ya next year.

I guess I'll start posting again.
So reading back, I decided to privatize most of my previous entries, because now I feel that it doesn't reflect me for who I am now. I read back, and I see horrible writing that drips with selfishness. Reading back, I feel quite disgusted and embarrassed. So I'm to post now, reading material that might seem a bit more, thought provoking? HA! Like I can ever do that.

Well, I beat Metal Gear Solid 4. The game was damn good! It had a very sufficent ending, equal to what I expected an ending should cover for a game of this magnitude. However, I feel that because Kojima (the creator) expanded on the story so much in 2 & 3, he had so much trouble making everything make sense that although everything was tied together well enough in the end, the story fell apart. The story, for it's faults, was good enough though. Let me put a caveat on that last sentence; people with experience in MGS2 will find themselves at home with 4. Favorite though will have to be 3. It had this whole theme throughout the game of an action hero that reflected a bit of 007 but a lot more down-to-earth. It actually shocks me how people would think that 3 wasn't good. It really is beyond me.

Beating Persona 3 FES. Taking forever. Hour 62 right now. Game is good. There's a reason I played it for so long and still am playing it. Dunno why though, since I already beat it.

There you go. Pretty much going to spend this as a review space and not a personal space.

Check out my new podcast too, just google "TONCast". It's available on itunes and google video.

Six months later, I do it again.
March 26th of 2006. It was a sunday. The last day of Sakuracon. I woke up with anticipation and fear, as I would be facing one of mankind's greatest fears head-on. Me and Mike got ready and headed out at 9:30 to grab a bagel at a local breakfast place. I ate light, because I definitely didn't want to end up with a throw-up. We walk in to the room at the convention hall. It was a sizable room, its length, width, and height about the width of a three-lane street. It was two groups of chair for the audience to sit in, where each group was about 12x15. At the front was two rectangular tables about five feet seperated from each other and a projector in between for panelists. It was ten minutes before showtime, and I sat down in the room in the audience seating waiting to see how many people would be coming to the show, before its performer shows himself. One, two, three people step-in. I question one of them about the performer, and said that he never heard of the guy. I told him that this guy was horrible, and that I came to heckle. Five minutes left. I look around and see about fifteen people sitting down. Mike came back and told me that most people are in the dealers hall to get last minute stuff before the con ends, and that there is some voice acting show in the main hall attracting most of the people too. Guess the scheduling was bad. One minute before the event starts. I look around and it's fifteen people sitting down. One last look at my cellphone, and I pocket it. I straighten my back, take a breath, and stand up. I walk up to the front behind the tables, grab the mic, give the switch a flick, and look at words on the electronic. They said "ON". I look up, and I tell the microphone something, and I trusted it to tell everyone else. I said, "My name is Victor Chaves. I am the anime stand-up comedian."

As I'm sure I've said a BILLION times on this LJ, that stand-up comedy panel I did was probably on of the best things I've ever done.

Well it's been six months, and Sakuracon has finally put up an update to their website, setting up a form of which to sign-up for Paneling. I'm doing it again everybody. I'm doing another show of stand-up comedy, and I'm putting more effort into it than I probably should. The show is gonna be about forty-five minutes long. Hopefully, I'll have enough material to last at least for more than twenty minutes like I did last time. This'll be my second stand-up performance ever, and boy howdy did I ever learn from it. Here's a few guidelines one should follow, should they consider stand-up.

1)ThE SHOW MUST BE AT NIGHT. Really, if it's not at night, than you will be unable to do any sort of improv at all. I found myself just straight nervous, and tired. Really wish I had at least five bans of coke three hours beforehand. Speaking of that...we go into the next one.
2)PEE AND SHIT BEFOREHAND. This is obvious.
3)REVIEW YOUR JOKES ONCE A DAY. Really, standing up with a piece of paper for reference is not a sign of a good comedian. Review like hell.
4)TELL YOUR JOKES TO OTHER PEOPLE. Hold a little bit of mini-thing where you get four people to sit with you, and listen to your act. What you think might be hilarious, might not be at all to others. This saved me, because I did the first draft in front of Jody, Kevin, and Brian, and they thought more than 3/4 of what I written should be taken out altogether.
5)Lastly, DON'T RANT. No ranting. More or less, you are just isolating yourself from the audience with this if they disagree with you. Although one may complain, one must complain in a way that the listener can affiliate themselves with. For instance, Dane Cook has a joke where he complains about the annoyance of car alarms, and all people hate car alarms. But saying that one hates sushi, and saying that all things that are food must be cooked, would only isolate you from food connaisseurs.Appeal to the general audience, not yourself (but that's important too)

This is probably the biggest thing I can look forward to for the next couple of weeks. If this goes pretty well too, I'll consider going to PAX in 07 to do a show there too! Time for show is on the weekend of April from the 6th to the 8th. More than likely, after 8PM on friday or saturday.

    6:11 am
Dunno why I'm up now, but here I am.
I've been going around the internet looking for anything that people have recorded what I did at this past years' Sakura-Con (you know, what with the stand-up). I gave up, and I started thinking about what my experiences were at anime conventions. Well, here we go.

    JACON 2002
My first anime convention. Went with Mike, one of my best damn friends ever. I remember when at the beginning of the school year before JACON (about 8 months earlier than JACON) Mike got me into anime. I didn't stop, I couldn't stop, and we then went to Orlando for the convention. Now Mike, the great guy, and the great family that he has, provided room! Stayed at a friend of his sister's house just down the street from UCF. It was great, at ten in the morn, Mike's mom would take us to the university, and pick us up at night. It was hands down one of the best times of my life. I learned all about the anime convention there. Dealer's Room, Showings, Panels, Cosplay. Learned it all and had fun of it. Having fun at the friends' house was pretty cool too.

    JACON 2003
Now that I sit down and type this, I really have no recollection of it. I know I went, because I have the pass, but I don't know what I did, who I did it with, or if I even got a hotel room! Surprisingly enough I was not drunk. (Or have yet to be.) Just remembered, it was a shared hotel room consisting of Me, Mike, and Emilio. Great hotel, cheap as hell, and Emilio got 300$ spending money from it and didn't spend a cent. Me and Mike were dumbfounded.

    Metrocon 2003
This was the first year for this convention, and it was a tampa convention. I remember some of the thing. Basically I went to all three days (like the last two) but this time I did it by myself. I actually found myself to be very isolated, and felt that there wasn't much to do. It was then that I knew that conventions should be attended with friends. Always have freinds with you damnit. This was also the first time that I took part in a tournament. It was Dance Dance Revolution, and I lost in the first round. I was pretty pissed, and annoyed, and the second tournament on the Sunday was just as bad. It was then that I hit the peak of my DDR career, and suddenly crashed in place. Since I went by myself, it was pretty lonesome, but at least it was still fun.

    JACON 2004
Now this was one of the best cons I ever went to. It was me, Bill, Robert, Jay, and Bruno, all in a car at seven in the morning on Friday skipping school to go to this con. I will say this right now though. I remember, seeing Mike at the convention, with Jessica and Emilio, and I felt bad. Here was the guy that was one of my best friends, and we barely spoke to each other about this, and we weren't going together. I was sullied, that I was, but that's enough of the sad. Now for the detailed depiction. Bill slept over my place the night before, (left his laptop on to make him sleep???) and we both got up at six to shower and hit the road, subsequently getting the other three joining. We took my car (at the time the Impreza, it was supposed to take me across the country but I didn't believe it) to the new Wal-mart, and set our journey to start from there. Right away we drove to the hotel at Orlando. It was supposed to be cheap, and close, I trusted my mom with this, as she booked it for us. I found it funny though, because the hour and a half ride to Orlando was only 45 minutes, and we got to the hotel. I go to the counter to check in, turns out I need to be 21, a 200$ deposit, and the price would be 500$ for the stay. This was one of the only times in my life that I was actually yelling at my mom. I was pissed to an infinite degree, and instead of waiting for my mom, I told her to stay, and that I would wing the hotel when I get to the con. Turns out, not only did I have to be 21, and 200$ deposit, I needed to drive from the hotel to the convention, which turned out to be a forty-five minute ride. (Way to do the math eh?) Still pissed about my mom, I arrive at a Hilton express, bordering the UCF campus. It was 100$ a night, no deposit or any age needed. Thanks mom, WAY TO BE A TRAVEL AGENT. Good job Victor.

So we unload and go to the con and have a blast. The term "Victor's Complex" was born (derived from Oedipus Complex), watched the "worst anime ever" panel, AMV's, the works. It was probably the most fun time I have ever had. I remember on the Firday night when the con closed and the after parties started, since I was the only one that was 18 at the time, I was allowed to go to the parties. I went till three in the morning and had fun at a small arcade at a hotel, but really most of the stuff was closed to everyone except members of whatever some party a club was hosting. The guys were pissed since what I did wasn't anything 18 and over, so they went Saturday night. It was subsequently boring, but I remember one particular event. There was the Yaoi Pajama Party. I was curious, (even a friend that was bi invited me, didn't go the con anyways) so I walked in to see the hubbub. Didn't really know what Yaoi was until I saw a picture with Gene Starwind and Shinji doing something in a bathroom. Bruno was scared from that pic (lol). I knew that although that was yaoi, I didn't really understand why girls were into it. Turns out there are two yaois. The porno yaoi (shinji and gene) and pretty boy yaoi (pajama party). It was basically a celebration of forbidden love between guys (which for some reason anime-liking girls goes nuts for) where a bunch of girls (and some guys) were all sitting near a TV watching a bi-shounen anime (pretty boy anime, the guys aren't gay, but there are allurances to it which are obvious). So everytime the characters said something like "Ride my horse, it'll feel better." All the girls would giggle rediculously. It was a very educational scene for me, as I never knew this even existed. Staying two minutes, me and the guys escape, and do something else. Great con, great times, great friends. I still owe Bill seven bucks for gas though, since he did help me on the way back from the con.....you rock Bill!

    Metrocon 2004
By myself again, same old same old. Good times still though.

    Metrocon 2005
This time I set this up very well. It was at the Tampa convention center, and I snuck in a room with this cool guy Brian. It was fun to share a hotel room with Brian and his friends, and it provided some good talk in the while. It was in this convention that my attitude for all conventions changed, about how I should attend them, and how I take part. Many things happened here, that I will always remember. First was the panel for "State of the Anime Industry". Me Bruno and Robert go there, and it turns out that it got cancelled, with only a few people in attendance, and no host. Us guys sit down and start talking. Me and Bruno then start telling each other that we should take over this panel. That we should just go up and start talking to whoever is sitting down in front of us.Robert got cold feet and denied us, whille me and Bruno just gave it the good old "FUCK IT!" and rushed the stage. There we started talking to the room, saying that we aren't official and whatever, that we're just gonna have a conversation. So we did, and who gets up in the middle of the room, but David Williams of ADV films, and Ms. GoodNight of animeondvd.com! So me and Bruno host a friggin' panel with these two behemoths of the anime industry, just talking on the same level as these two! Not only thata, but the room that was pretty empty suddenly filled up pretty well! Me and Bruno hosted a friggin' panel by ourselves, and people came in to see it! Well the panel was over, and the three of us moved on, with awesome memories of what just happened.

What else, hmmmm......Well I found out that you don't need money to get anime, but a really good mind, and luck. Thanks to my intelligence, I won in a match against two other people in an anime trivia game, therefore winning Jubei Chan Season 2 Disc One, and the Paranoia Agent Soundtrack. The luck part came in when I did Anime Bingo and won the first disc of Robotech. I also got second place at the Super Smash Bothers Melee touney at the con, but damnit the bastard that beat me was a wavedashing Falco, which, if you don't know, is a glitching thing that he kept on doing. It seems that at the height of my SSBM days, I was really good at the game against other people if they didn't exploit cheats in the game. But bust in wavedashing and lasering, and no one has the possiblity of winning! It's that broken. But I still got second, which is the best I have ever done in a tournament. Before I finish this part of my anime convention memoirs, let me just say sorry, to Brian. Brian. I am an ass. An ass to behold beyond all life. I am sorry. I pretty much didn't give him 150$ for the hotel room. It was horrible of me, and I feel bad about, I really do. I still gotta owe him money, but there never seems to be a good time to send 150 in the mail to settle an old debt. Sorry Brian, but please know, that I will always remember that I owe you, and everytime I do, I get a gut wrenching feeling of guilt in my stomach everytime.

    Sakura-Con 2005
The only convention I attend this year. Sadly, I went by myself. Couldn't really get anybody to go with me, and it was very sad. Kevin was going though, but he was going with his friend Carina (sp?) which was nice, but I didn't want to get in their way. So I spent the con by myself going to random things, attending random events, seeing random stuff. I remember running low on food, and somehow surviving because I answered a piece of anime music trivia. They basically play the first ten seconds of a song, and ask for the name of the song, the band/singer, and the anime. If you answer all three you get a can of Pringles. Well, my hand shot up in a half a second flat, when I heard the turning of an engine, signaling that it could be one, and only one song. I stood up and bellowed, "GREAT TEACHER ONIZUKA! DRIVER'S HIGH! L'ARC EN CIEL!" The whole audience paused, as they couldn't even get a reaction off when I announced my answers. The guy with the answers was also in a half-state of astonishment, when he woke up and looked back down at his paper. He didn't say anything, just tossed me the can of chips. As I caught it, the whole crowd gave a soft clap, as if saying, "Jesus fucking christ how'd that guy know that?! He's a bigger nerd than I am!" I also remember that the way I got to the con was by driving, as it was in the Sea-Tac Airport hotels, but the parking was horrendous. No way to park at all. Well next to the hotel was a small apartment complex (seriously, it was two buildings with a pool in between. I park there and ask the landlord lady if I can park here for a fee. She said no immediately with no leeway to me. Well I left dejected, but while walking away, a shady dude came up to me and told me that he was actually the guy that they called to to put the boot locks on, and that his job required him to look at the lot and make sure no one parked out of allowance. He offered me to park here for free, and to park in a inconspicuous place till ten, and that's the latest. He then pointed at his apartment and said that if I ever need help go there for him. Well I parked, and later that night I gave him to packs of Pocky and a ramune for gratitude. He was really confused by the drink, but appreciated it anyway. I asked him if I could do it again on the next day and he said sure, and pointed at the place I should park next time to remain inconspicuous. Now that I look back, I'm sure they get requests all the time, and I'm sure that guy provides parking to them all the time. I just be that he never got any thing back for it. (Not that Pocky and Ramune is perfect repayment)

    Sakura Con 2006
This was great. The old pair was back together. Mike came up from Tampa to spend a week with me, and to attend this years Sakura Con. Him and I got a hotel, I paid for it, and the parking was expensive as hell too. Now that I think about it, I shoulda took the bus. *shrug* Coulda saved sixty bucks. I would say that this con was the con where I completely transitioned into an entity which becomes more hands-on to the convention. This time, I actually hosted a stand-up comedy show (read the entries below) and I cosplayed for the first time. It was a great cosplay, and I wsh that next time I could be something better. Next time I want to do a full-hour show, and do another panel that would attract a lot of people. At least something that people would write in their blogs.

That's my history. I'd say I became a vet of anime conventions, when I did the panel with Bruno, I can definetly say I am experienced in this. Eight conventions and still rolling. Wish I had money to go to the rediculously huge conventions, as most of the ones I've gone to are medium to small. I guess you could count as Penny Arcade Expo to push the number to nine, but that's not a convention, but an expo. Can't wait for the next one on the 22nd. Little less than one month!

One more thing, on a personal note of writing. I'm here to say that I have officially dropped out of Digipen. Programming just isn't for me, and I will be attending the U of Wa for Japan Studies and Journalism. Hopefully to double major, but maybe major and minor is most likely. Tuition is 7,000$ for 10-18 credits, but with residency it's 2,000. So this year I'll be working towards getting residency here. Got a job at Nintendo as a game tester, which should pay 10 and hour, and it should be 40 hours a week, so good money coming in there. Just wish that the next project would happen soon enough. I haven't worked there yet, as they go by a project-to-project basis, where I'll be in on the next project which should last two weeks. It seems that in this small period if I wanna be fully hired by Nintendo, I'd have to show that I can be the best employee ever in that small window. So although I'm hired, I'm on standby, waiting for the first to come around to shed some job light on me.

The fourth episode of the podcast isn't gonna happen till a little later. When Robert and I have our jobs all set. We have some trouble going on here, (just money problems) so we don't have much motivation to critique on anime and games until we got our own stuff level. Personally I've just been playing games, watching Seinfeld, doing nothing for days on end. It's really boring actually, as I wanna have some obligation to do, playing games and watching anime all day actually loses it's value if you do it too much. I'm hoping that getting long hours at work will actually raise the value of anime and video games for me. I really hope so. Sitting here staying up till seven in the morning and waking up at 2 in the afternoon is really rotting away at me. I wanna work out some, but I really hate working out. I'm one of those guys who needs to feel as if they're doing something when working out. Jogging in place does nothing for me. So when I get the job, I'm gonna start going to a Tae Kwon Do dojo again and try to lose weight while training in there. Hope it'll work.

Anywho, I'm tired, it's eight in the morning, I'm gonna hit the hay. Have a good night, well, you Tamponians are waking up now, so good morning.

    12:24 am
Well my spring break is over, and I have to say it was pretty good. Basically screwed around till wednesday, when I picked up Mike (friend from Tampa, for you follow digipwners) from the airport. Him and I had then went to downtown Seattle for Sakura-con. I actually did my first cosplay too! Check it out...

I can't believe that there was another person that cosplayed as my character, since he was a bit of a vague one, but ah well. This is the picture of the character I'm referencing.

Next time, I want to cosplay as Guts from Berserk......

However I would really like to try to cosplay as Guts in his Berserker mode.

That would be rediculously awesome. Ohhh...I really wish that I was good at arts and crafts. *tears*
Well anywho, for those of you wondering, my standup at the convention went awesomely. I'll explain the story in full. Before the panel, I was scared shitless, rereading what material I had every ten seconds....even went to the bathroom to release the stress. The show was to run a half-hour, and I wasn't sure I could last. Well I sat down in the audience acting as an audience member, and waited in the empty room, asking people as they came in who was the guy that was gonna do the panel. Nobody said anything, except for one guy. He actually said that this guy was very good, and that he saw me at a New York convention. Heh heh, this was the first time doing it! Anyways.About a minute after 11, I got up from the audience, and surprised a couple of people, heh heh. So I went up and did my material. Awesomely enough, it was a complete success! About twenty-thirty people showed up and laughed a lot! If I were to give a rating between how well the show came out, I'd give it a 7.5/10. In the sense that I was pretty funny, but my n00bin3ss was quite obvious. Throughout the whole show, I forgot the material, so I basically read out the material from a handy reference paper. After twenty minutes, I ran outta material :( but I asked people to come up and do a little stand-up of their own. The first guy was pretty good. In fact, he was quite hilarious! But the next guy, what a stinker. He just ranted on and on, basically we left with a bit of "who cares". The last one, a girl, was amusing, but she talked way too fast, and had no comedic timing. In the end, I'd say it was an awesome event, and I want to do it again next year. Next time I'm sure I'll have more people come by, and even more material.

Well by the end of the weekend, I have way less money, more memories of awesomeness, and...I don't know what to say. I'm sorry for the lack of updating, but whatever. I'll update with more pics later.

    2:29 pm
Well let's see. What has been happening lately? Well I asked a girl at suncoast out to coffee with me. She said yea, but unfortunately, she had a boyfriend. It sucks, but it happens. At least she didn't rip off a dinner, but a coffee only. She was a pretty cool person, and seems to be in the same field I wish to be in, but only in the facet of using Java instead of C/C++. But let me tell you, although I have failed at getting her, I still at least ASKED a girl, so that's a bit of very helpful experience right there. I have to say that I'm proud of myself, for after three or so years, I finally got some gaul to do something. And now, I gotta go and find another girl to be the object of my affection. Lovely.

Besides that failure, I just recentyl had some incredible news! I'll start at the beginning. Basically I was sitting at home and was thinking about stand-up comedy in general. Not much to say. Then I thought about Sakura-con, the big Seattle anime convention which has at least 10,000 people come in each year and still grows. Well, putting one and one together, I thought, "How about I host a panel in this convention where I basically do a stand-up comedy presentation in which all the content is related to anime?" I didn't want to rush into this, so I slept on it. For an hour I was thinking up some awesome jokes which made me think even more that I have the ability to do this. I wish I wrote them down.... Anyways, I started writing some jokes the next day, and got about ten minutes full of dialog, which is when I decided to apply to do it. I wrote the application and sent it to sakura-con to think about

It's been so long, where do I start?!
    YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSHHH.

    Where do I start?
    I already said that.
I have an assload of anime to watch right now. Serial Exp. Lain, Texhnolyze, Shuffle!, Paranoia Agent, and a whole lot of shows airing right now that I have to keep up on every day. Right now this season what is interesting me mostly is Blood+, or what most people know also as the parallel universe to Blood: The Last Vampire. So far it has impressed me with how the characters play out, but other than that, it's a pretty boring season. Capeta, a racing show is pretty cool, but every small event takes friggin' two whole episodes. Also, the best romance-comedy anime I have ever seen, School Rumble, is coming out with a second season! When I found this out, I swear I almost shat myself. This show is so damn entertaining, such an awesome story, incredibly interesting characters, and the only bad thing I would have to say is in this show is the first two episodes.

Well the new year has happened, and I had plenty of time to think in Tampa of what I need to do as far as resolutions. So I thought, "what am I missing? What do I need to do?". So I see myself as being very fulfilled. I think I'm a nice guy, I pay my bills, I help people, and I'm not gonna try to lose weight within the next bit. So I decided that if I were gonna try to do a resolution, I'm gonna try to go out with someone this year. Last year I met a couple of girls, a but no dates. Just hanging out with friends. I need to go out with some girls. I'm at my peak, with plenty of money, lots of games to play, passing all my classes, and lots of anime to watch. I need a girlfriend. I had plenty of chances of going out with a few back in the summer after high school. I didn't go out with them because I was leaving to Seattle. Now that I think about it, I was a fucking idiot. GAWD DAMN I WAS AN IDIOT. So yea, gonna try to fix that right away. But so far, no luck, but damnit the first chick that I see (outside of Digipen) that I find attractive I'll ask her out.

It's been two days since I came back to Bellevue, and I still haven't played games or go somewhere that isn't home and Digipen. I now have four classes, ever since I worked up from the two last semester. Here's the schedule:
    Monday: CS105 at 12:30PM, and CS230 at 8:00PM
    Tuesday: MAT150 (NOT 140!!!) at 8:00AM, and CS170 at 11:00AM
    Wednesday: CS105 at 12:30PM, and CS230 at 8:00PM
    Thursday: MAT150 (NOT 140!!!) at 8:00AM
    Friday: CS105: at 11:00AM, CS170 at 12:00, and MAT150 at 3:00

Seems that my toughest day will be Friday, and my easiest day will be Thursday, with one class at 8:00 AM. Although it's early as balls, all my classes end that day at 9:30. I don't mind taking a nap afterwards.

Anywho, it's about time I updated, and I'm happy I did.

    *STRETCH*
Well, I have been getting a lot of comments from a lot of people saying that I am a very relaxed person. I've even been asked advice on calming down from a couple of fellow workers in Best Buy. I guess I am a pretty relaxed guy, and I always take things as they go, so I guess I'm smart enough not to get caught up in problems.

Well, *sigh* I don't know what to say. THere hasn't been a lot to say. I've been getting some things, using things, playing Naruto 3, waiting for my damn Berserk and PS2. Not a lot.

Been playing World of Warcraft lately, and I really don't know what's so great about it. I know it's a great game, it's just that I don't like the numbers and whatnot involved in MMO's. I want more of an action MMO,where I don't miss, or my enemy parries my 50 pound axe with a small dagger. When I make an MMO, it won't be gay and have numbers deciding how much of a badass character you are, it's actual role-playing. You fight with a sword, and how you handle the sword is done by your skill in fighting. NOT THE SKILL NUMBER, THE WAY YOU FIGHT. Doing long power swings will slow you down to the quick attacks of thiefs. These are just my current thoughts on MMO's nowadays.

Best Buy has definetly been hitting the whole "routine", and I am really thinking about going to Inventory instead of selling stuff.

AND DAMNIT. The queue of games I gotta play are growing by the damn minute. I have over 20 games to play, and this has to be done before the holiday season. I might go ask this girl that works at Suncoast video if she'd like to have coffee with me, she seemed very nice, so I guess I'll go for it.

BTW, check out the stuff I've writen on n-philes.

It's good stuff. Lots of people enjoy it, and agree with a lot of my views. I love writing for them, and I'll post the link here when my Naruto 3 review comes up.

    Lazy as hell....
Well, I'm in Seattle now, and now I gotta just sum everything up that happened these last few weeks...Brasil was incredible awesomeness, new people, made a hell of a lot of new friends that I'll remember forever, and a bunch of pictures that I'm too lazy to show off. Brasil is a great place to wine and dine too, although drinking age is 18, they don't give a shit at all. In fact, my little sister, ordered a forty for me once, and totally did not even get a second look. Pretty sweet eh? Didn't get drunk though, since my Mom was there, and she was the wallet, so I couldn't get close, even though changing from American dollars to Reais automatically makes you rich with disposable income. So after all that, I'll probably be coming back to Brasil to meet up with Arturos(kickass name eh?) and the rest of his family.

Well, not wasting time with getting lazy in America, I had immediately went to Tampa's own Metrocon, man, I got so much damn free shit just from knowing too much about anime and videogames. Basically I got about sixty bucks of free anime from participating in an anime quiz show(and winning), got a nice Robotech DVD from an anime BINGO game, and got a nice, ass, Berserk Poster for answering an obscure anime question(Name two anime references in GTO, Doreamon, Fist of the North Star, and for the hell of saying it, Initial D). Needless to say, I came away pretty good for having no cash. Another anecdote there, was that during the "Statement of the Industry Panel", Bruno, Robert, and I walked in to find it cancelled because no one showed up. Since there were about ten people there, me and Bruno decided together, "Fuck this shit, we making our own panel!" So we both went up front and had a replacement panel to talk about the industry. Unfortunately we just talked about miscellaneous shows, and how much we hate 4Kids for screwing up One Piece, and nay! Who is that? Why, it's David Williams! Head Director of ADV Films came up to say a few words about the state of the industry. You can't believe me and Brunos' surprise, having such a bigwig from one of the worlds' biggest anime producers come up and actually listen to me and Bruno about things. What was great too, is that Lauren Goodnight also came up, and joined in on the panel(voice for ADV, and writer for animeondvd.com). So me and Bruno actually hosted a panel with two important people related to anime, and actually had people come in to listen to what we all had to say!(In the beginning it was ten people, at the end we got thirty total!) All in all, the convention was great, but I wish there were more Ballroom events, more panels, and more rooms for anime viewing, and the worst part was that outside food and drinks weren't permitted, so people couldn't get their favorite pocky and ramune drinks or they would be breaking Tampa Convention Center rules. That really sucked.

About a week after the con, I flew down back up to Seattle to go back to school, and now I'm waiting for the semester to start(in september), and now I'm just playing a bunch of random games to waste the extra time.

Some quick things also, turns out that catering company that was paying me twelve bucks per hour actually went outta business, and since it was within six months that I quit, I am allowed to say that because of me, they weren't able to stay in business! HAHAHA!

I've been watching this INCREDIBLE AWESOME ASS SHOW called Hajime no Ippo(Fighting Spirit in America), and I have to say, this one of the best damn shows I have seen. Also, I'm thinking about reading the manga(SEVENTY VOLUMES AND STILL GOING), but I'm not sure. The show is about a guy named Ippo who got bullied in school, and decided to train in boxing to get stronger. The story is awesome, fights play out in appropriately kickass fashion, and each and every character is nicely fleshed out without being too annoying.

I've also decided to buy a PS2, mod it, and have my first imported game to the Berserk game. Jesus christ, this game looks so damn awesome. I want this game more than the new Zelda game, of which I already pre-ordered. I will also be getting a new refridgerator to put in my room to at least get more room than the small room I get because my roommate has so much stuff. It's annoying, the top rack has more Applebee's boxes than chips in a damn bag!

Well, I'll be off applying to more jobs tomorrow so I can at least get some cash to survive here. Have a good day everyone! Next update probably late August, or if something big happens.

    Also, Jay kicks ass.

    \holy crap, in Brasil!
OK, I´m in an internet cafe and I´m gonna type quickly here to recount.

June 7th-8th: got on the plane to dc and from there to sao paulo to rio de janeiro. the problem is, is that the seats behind us had a pair of the noisiest kids ev4r, but after 30 min they stopped. got in brasil, what a crazy place. the first thing that happens is that I get on a bus to my grammas place. In two minutes I was blown away by how beautiful the city was. It´s weird, in the dirty and grunginess, I saw a beauty that I couldn´t believe how beautiful it was. At the same time tho, I noticed how the streets are dangerous as hell for dreiving. My gawd. These people cut people off like flushing a toilet after using a restroom. anywho, i´m heading down to santa catarina to go to this huge family reunion, but that´s a few days after. Next post on the 9th,10th, and more on the other days coming! Keep messaging me everyone!

I thought this quiz was pretty cool, and I thought it was awesome that it actually got my favorite kind of weapon, the Greatsword! I love greatswords, mainly because they kick ass! If you notice too, the guy to the left that's mad as hell is Gutz from Berserk, and his sword is fucking huge and kicks ass.

This monday at 1AM, I'm flying back to tampa and then heading down to Brasil! WOO! I'll be coming back to tampa June 20thish to attend Metrocon with a couple of great friends and then heading back to Seattle to start on my second year in Digipen!

    Here's that test I took.

    Greatsword
You preferred a weapon with 54% power over speed and 49% range over melee.
    You use a Greatsword.

Do the words Zweihander or Flamberge mean anything to you? You prefer a Greatsword, a massive, heavy blade frequently strong enough to cut down the rides of mounted warriors. Though slow, the impressive length and heft of a greatsword makes it capable even of breaking through armor. Your enemies will run from the deadly arcs of your blade as you bear down on them.

My test tracked 2 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

Something nasty is going on in digipen...............
    Holy Shit.
    WTF.
    WHY?!
    What the hell?!

All this comes to mind when I think about this. On Tuesday, I had found out that at 8'o clock at Digipen, some kid was on a comp, jerkin' the gerkin to beasteality!!!!!
    I reiterate.

    Holy shit.
    WTF.
    WHY?!
    What the hell?!

Yea, well, he go escorted out of the building that night, and came back the next morning(yesterday) doing it again!!!!!

    Holy shit.
    WTF.
    WHY?!
    What the hell?!

Well needless to say, he got escorted out again, and already the school was on fire with conversation about this kid, nobody knew who he was, why he did it, or wtf in general! Well after being forced out again, he came back for class, which he happens to have the same class as me! YARGH! He was pulled out of class and was forced to leave for the day. The word in the grapevine says that he was actually itching his balls because he was allergic to a type of soap. OK, first of all, why not itch in the bathroom? AWAY from the eyes. Next, if he had an allergic reaction, why on the penis and not somewhere else?! I mean, JUST THE PENIS? Thirdly, why was there BEASTEALITY PORN ON THE SCREEN!?!?!? Yea, whatever. On another livejournal account dedicated to digipen, my downstairs neighbor posted up a pic that should be put on his monitor.
here's the link "http://www.livejournal.com/community/digipen/71653.html?thread=644325#t644325" its inside the quotes. Funny Stuff. Well, I don't know anything else, and I guess the soap thing might be true, because he didn't get expelled, or suspended, but he probably just got off with a warning(pun intended). Well, as I type this down, I see the guy, sitting in THE SAME SEAT. Paranoia is really starting to take a hold of me. AH WHAT'S THAT!?!?!? Oh, he's itching his head, wtf.

Now for the sake of not having an entry dedicated to this kid, I will talk about something else.

    .....
    .....
    ....

    *glimpse*
    *hides*

Jesus man, is it me or does this mguy look like pee-wee herman?

    MOVING ON--------------->

I found out something pretty nice yesterday. ONDEMAND ANIME
    Holy shit, free anime! W00711111111
    Totally legal.
But the first show I saw was something I was REALLY curious about, Gravitation. Heared some stuff about it, don't know much, why not.
The story is about a guy trying to become a famous pop-singer. Often enough, he's told that in order to make a good love song, one must be in love. Here's where it gets weird. This guy, LOOK'S A LOT LIKE A GIRL. Suspicious? Mebbe. So this "guy", starts to make his "love song" in a park, but is told to stop by some guy that looks really mean. The mean guy tells guy/girl to stop writing songs, that he has no talent. So the singer is mall pissed off and shit, so runs out in a street and gets the mean guys ass and tells him that he can make a good love song. Next day, the main character goes to his manager and tells him hes' got the song. The song is good, and the manager likes it and asks the guy/girl, "What caused you to make this song?" Singer/guy/psuedo-girl, tells him that this guy pissed him off and so he made the song to prove him wrong. Somehow, the friend of guy/girl says that it's too bad that guy/girl likes this guy cuz' he wanted his ass. OK, so the friend of the guy/girl is gay, but not guy/girl(wtf?). So guy/girl goes to tell mean man that he's going to have a concert and wants him to see, just to show that he can make a good song. So the mean guy says buck that, and walks inside his place, guy/girl chases him, and tells him to fuck off. Then, mean guy grabs guy/girl and starts making out with each other. *end episode*

    *blink*

Yea, it was pretty interesting. You know what? I am going to watch the next episode, not because I am interested in the whole gay agenda(I have plenty of gay friends), but I wanna see how this pans out, the story was actually interesting, and it's the only pop singer anime I've seen besides Perfect Blue, and that was really depressing. What else is that this story is not too far from real life JAPANESE musicians(and I use the term musicians loosely), most j-musicians are gay! Dir en Grey has at least members I know of that are playing for the other team. X Japan, at least one, yep, it's a pretty gay world there. Nothing wrong with gays! Another thing, why is the main character looking like a female!?!? wtf. It's like as if it's trying to make me think that this is a heterosexual relationship. W/E

Well, this was a bit of disturbing entry. Now I end it.

    Mother fudger.
Goddamnit, I spent at least an hour on this journal entry, and then the damn page reloads itself without the content I had put in. God damnit. I had so much written, enough to make an essay out of. At least of 2000 words of my psychology written on it. And at 2 in the morning, I really don't feel like writing. FUCK ME

Well this i my first journal entry....
Why did i start this? I don't know.
But on a word about online journals!
This is how it all goes for 90% of the population:
They start the journal and keep it up for three entries.....
then they forget about it for three months and come back saying they will work on it and promise more entries (and i'd like to know, who cares?) and forgot to do it for a year of which by then they have already deleted their link of it on aim, or they just tottally forgot all about it's existence and started a new one.

Now you might be wondering why I am doing this?

Well.....self-reflection is what I can best come up with right now. This journal is my life, all my secrets will be revealed right here, as I like to say that my life is like an open book. But I doubt you'd read my book if you were smart!
